Course Description

Want to become an independent competent roped climber? Within this course you'll learn the essential techniques and safety practise to be able to climb independently and supervise others in the climbing area. Delivered as a 2 x 2 hour course typically over a fortnight. You'll learn how to tie in, set up and learn how to use a belay device, understand the hazards within a climbing wall and how to perform essential buddy checks between you and your partner.
